Born and raised on a hog farm in rural northwestern Missouri, Matt spent his youth running wild in the open countryside. After 18 years in small town USA, he joined the United States Marine Corps which landed him in southern California. Matt eventually relocated to Los Angeles where he stumbled into the photography industry, learning the trade from several world-renowned photographers. When Matt's not taking pictures he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling overseas, telling stories and looking for the next adventure.
